Sorry no pictures of their compound as
it is not permitted. It is guarded very
much like a military base with armed
guards, military style security, gun towers
and turrets,and 2 F-15's that fly over
every couple of minutes.

Wow. That makes it sound so negative.
ReplyDeleteI live on a Saudi Aramco compound, and although what you described is definitely part of the experience as you enter, once you are on the camp, residential in particular, none of that is visible and you feel quite at home and safe.
Perhaps you were only in the business area where security is heightened for obvious reasons?
